I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in international studies. A few years later, I returned to VCU to complete a master’s degree in social work. I have worked in research since my early college years. I currently serve as the study coordinator for two studies under the supervision of Saba Masho, M.D. - Healthy Communities for Youth and the Effectiveness of a Shortened Interval to Postpartum Visit. My research interests include promoting the well-being and success of underserved youth through community-based programs. Additionally, I am interested in women’s health and substance use research.
