Youth Development Specialist
Christopher Moore is a youth development specialist in the VCU Clark-Hill Institute for Positive Youth Development. In his role, he serves as a key member of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program research project which is being implemented in several Richmond public middle schools. He is a member of the bullying prevention coordinating committee and serves as the student leadership coordinator. Mr. Moore intervenes with students referred for bullying incidents and facilitates parent meetings. He discusses student-related issues such as bullying, victimization and youth violence. Mr. Moore has been recognized by the Centers for Disease Control for his previous work with VCU in the field of youth violence prevention.
