VCU School of Education
Special Education and Disability Leadership
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and political science and earned a master's degree in educational leadership at VCU. After eight years teaching in various classroom settings, I joined the BEST in CLASS staff as a research assistant in 2014. My broad research interests include teacher perceptions of student behavior, the impact of teacher-student relationships and the implementation of trauma-informed programs in schools.
