I graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and continued to work at UVM as a research coordinator for a developmental research lab before enrolling as a clinical/developmental scholar in the VCU Psychology graduate program. My research focuses on risk and resilience among youth who have experienced early adversity or trauma. I am particularly interested in the positive development of children who have experienced parental loss and have been reared in foster care or institutional childcare settings.
