Natalia earned her Interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in Psychology, from the Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico in November of 2019. After graduating, Natalia spent four years gaining clinical and research experience working as a Neuropsychological Testing Technician at a private practice and as a Research Coordinator at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Currently, Natalia is a third year student in the Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program, working under the mentorships of Dr. Rosalie Corona and Dr. Natalie Dautovich. 
Natalia's research interests broadly include understanding contextual and cultural factors that promote the well-being of Latino populations. She is also interested in culturally appropriate and relevant group-based interventions to increase access to mental health tools and practices for marginalized and oppressed groups.
