Kiara Brown was one of twenty-three students to participate in the 2025 Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program. The National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine created the Mirzayan Fellowship program to help early-career or graduate student learn about science and technology policy and the role that scientists and engineers play in advising the nation. This is a full-time, hands-on workforce training and educational program that provides early career individuals with the opportunity to spend 12 weeks in Washington D.C.
