Project CARE: Conversations about Race and Emotions

Project CARE (Conversations about Race and Emotions) is an observational dyadic study that explores how parents and adolescents in Multiracial-Black families discuss race and the role emotions play in those discussions. The project was associated with a Loan Repayment Award from the National Institute of Mental Health. Recruitment is ongoing.
