Alisandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico in 2020. She then received her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2023. 

Her research interests broadly focus on the promotion of treatment engagement and reduction of mental health disparities among ethnic minority and diverse populations. Additionally, she is interested in the examination of cultural and parental/familial influences on Latinx mental health.
