Abriana received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology from Ohio University in 2024. Her research focuses on causes and consequences of intimate partner violence and understanding how and why violent relationships are maintained. She draws from a multidisciplinary toolkit, integrating theoretical perspectives from stress, relationship, and affective sciences and implementing immersive lab-based paradigms and intensive self-report, observational, physiological, dyadic, and longitudinal methodologies.
