About
I have been honored to work with the Clark-Hill Institute since its founding. I currently serve as the Study Coordinator for the Healthy Communities for Youth project. I also supervise the completion of participant recruitment and assessment for the community survey evaluating intervention effects. I have been involved in various aspects of research on adolescence at VCU for 30 years. I am interested in the healthy development of young people and in impacting the cycles of poverty and violence prevalent in our society. As a parent and grandparent myself, I have a strong interest in seeing children and families thrive despite the many challenges of both parenting and of growing up. My hope is that the work I am involved with contributes positively to the
lives of youth.
