Lauren Oddo is a postdoctoral fellow in implementation sciences at VCU. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2023 from the University of Maryland, College Park and completed her doctoral internship at Virginia Treatment Center for Children/Children's Hospital of Richmond. Lauren’s primary area of research is ADHD and commonly co-occurring disorders (e.g., disruptive behaviors, depression, substance use), with an additional emphasis on intervention implementation and sustainability sciences. In her work, Lauren seeks to identify malleable mechanisms and moderators that point us to more effective and personalized treatments that are sustainable in children’s sociocultural contexts. Lauren's research has been supported by NIH/NIAAA, CHADD, and ABCT. In addition to her research, Lauren has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, families, and adults in outpatient, psychiatric inpatient, school, and medical settings. She is a PCIT-certified therapist with expertise in providing evidence-based assessments and treatments to children and families with a variety of presenting concerns, including ADHD, disruptive behaviors, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
