I earned a B.S. from the University of Central Florida in 2017 and a M.H.S from the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2021. Before joining VCU’s developmental psychology doctoral program, I worked as a research associate with the University of Miami at the SHINE Lab. My research interests include using community based participatory research to destigmatize mental health with special interests in increasing mental health service utilization, highlighting risk and resilience among adolescents, and suicide prevention in racial-ethnic and immigrant communities.
