Colleen received a BS in Teacher Education from Bushnell University (2016), a MS in Special Education from Western Oregon University (2018), and a MS in Psychology from VCU (2022). She previously worked in several research positions for the Oregon Social Learning Center, including research liaison, clinical protocol interventionist, and community mental health interventionist. Currently, she works on both the qualitative and quantitative research teams for the Healthy Communities for Youth Project.
Colleen joined the Developmental Psychology PhD program in the fall of 2020. Broadly, her research interests are positive youth development and youth violence prevention, specifically related to the prevention of interpersonal violence and gun violence through school and community efforts.
