Amy Bollt

Doctoral Student

Amy grew up in Naperville, Illinois and graduated from Illinois State University in 2020 with a B.A. in History, and graduated in 2022 with an M.A.T. in Special Education from Towson University.  Her research interests revolve around family dynamics with families of individuals with intellectual disabilities and ideas of self-determination in school to adulthood transition. She is also interested in the family empowerment theory and accessibility to special education transition services. Amy entered the CEDARS lab and the PRISM lab in Fall 2025
