I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology in 2017 from the University of Virginia. Prior to beginning the doctoral program, I worked in various youth-focused research labs as a lead examiner, project facilitator and project coordinator.

Broadly, my research interests include risk and protective factors associated with cultural processes in LatinX families, acculturative stress on language brokering between LatinX youth and their caregivers, and the protective nature of parental monitoring across underrepresented youth.
