Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina in 2016 and worked as a research assistant for two years before enrolling at VCU. Her research focus is on youth exposure to violence, peer and community factors that affect mental health outcomes, and community-based interventions for underserved youth.
